Welcome

BopperYoga is nestled in the heart of a historic residential district on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. The studio was created to hold small and private classes, workshops and lectures. Our philosophy is that yoga is a practice for everybody in EVERY BODY.

Through the ages, texts have described the body as a field that needs to be ploughed, a cloth that is meticulously woven or a pot that is strengthened to hold the process of transformation. Since everyone’s field, cloth and pot are different, BopperYoga strives to introduce you to yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditations to use on your individual journey.

YogaCity NYC and BopperYoga in association with Kula Yoga Project Present:

An Evening to Discuss Yoga as Action, Political Thought and Power

My sequences combine movement and held poses. These encourage students to increase balance, strength and flexibility. I use philosophic, alignment and anatomical references to help students deepen understanding and frequently suggest props like blankets, blocks, belts, bolsters, chairs and walls to increase perception.
